Welcome to Roots, home of all thing’s ‘children’ at Pembrokeshire Vineyard.

‘Rooted in Faith, Growing in God’

Our heart is massive, and we are really praying into God’s calling to ‘go and make disciples’. And where better to start than with our children.

We seek to create a home, not just for the adult congregation but also for the children. A place they are excited to come to, a place they desire to bring their friends to. Not just because Sunday Mornings are filled with tons of fun, games, songs, stories and crafts (although there will be plenty of that…) but because the children are encountering the real and living God for themselves and they are excited to share that with others. And it doesn’t stop with encountering, it’s a training ground where everyone gets to play. We seek to grow a strong faith and a deep knowledge of the bible and be the safe haven where they can try (think words and pictures, prayer ministry, healing, the whole sha-bang.)

At Pembrokeshire Vineyard, we want to be ‘the village’.

While half of our vision for Roots is centred solely around the children, the other half is the family unit. If our faith is compartmentalised to two hours on a Sunday morning, is it going to be enough when the going gets tough?

Parenting in the culture we live in can be really tough, let alone parenting for faith! We want to grow, equip and empower our parents, supporting wherever and however we can. We desire conversations about Jesus at the dinner table, prayerful encounters throughout the day and faith that is extraordinary for every member of the family. But where do we start? We want to be the village and support you to carry on the conversations we start on Sundays. We want you to feel equipped to know where to start and empowered to nurture what’s already taking root.
