Prayer

“Always be joyful. Never stop praying.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18

We believe that when we pray, God hears us and we hear from Him. This is simply a conversation with our heavenly Father and is so vital to our relationship with Him. It is incredible. It is powerful. As we press into Him in prayer; we go deeper, He reveals His heart, He sets people free, He changes situations near and far and it increases our faith. There is healing and comfort and joy to be found. We get to connect with and play a part in what God is doing. We are committed to praying for Pembrokeshire, that God would breakthrough and we’d see our whole county changed.

New to prayer? Don’t know where to begin?

Start here…

It can sound daunting but praying is actually incredibly simple and a very natural thing to do. It is simply having a conversation with God. As you start, remember to keep it simple, keep it real and just keep it up. God loves it when you push into Him and the more you do the more you’ll find that He is faithful.

If you are not sure where to begin, then maybe start with telling God things you are thankful for and then thanking Him for them. You can praise God for who He is and what He has done. You can also ask Him to bless someone that comes to mind. You can be honest with God about where you are at and what you have done. And God is there when you want to cry out in need.

God is ready and willing to listen because He knows you and wants you to know Him.

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.”

-2 Chronicles 7:14
