What's coming up.
WOW! We have blitzed through the first part of this year and it has been a joy to do so together. We have loved watching this community grow as we met together to get to know one another, worship together and bless this amazing county that we get to call home.
We are heading into our next season of meetings where we will be building on what we have done before but adding more regular services and different ways to connect, grow and do life in Pembs with Jesus at the centre. Here are a few of the things we have planned and we are so excited to see you there.

Since settling in our new venue at Haverfordwest VC School we are now in a place we can call home. Having a base that is consistently available allows us to do the same, to also be consistent with our meeting times and available for all to come.
Our current rhythm is we will have The Table on the 2nd Sunday of the month sandwiched between two services, one on the 1st Sunday and the other on the 3rd Sunday. Come and join us as we gather. We are looking forward to welcoming you.
Along with our small groups meeting in the week on the 2nd and 4th Tues/Weds we now have a chance to connect with and grow as a community at least once a week!
The Table
Everyone needs to eat! We wanted to gather around The Table as a community, as a family and eat together. We see this as an amazing opportunity to press into our values of authentic community, radical hospitality and outrageous generosity. On the 2nd Sunday of every month, we will gather and eat together always making space for the friend, the neighbour and other. Our heart is that, as we kind of do what the disciples did, we create an atmosphere, over food where we can be devoted to one another and experience normalised faith. Where, although there won't be a talk or presentation or worship or really anything from the front, honest conversation and sharing will result in prayer across The Table, deepening relationships and Kindom values breaking through. We aim to start with grace and blessing of the food and finish with a blessing on everyone as we leave. We are just so looking forward to getting everyone together and as a community making this a highlight of every month!
Sunday Service
Some people call this "church" but church is what we do every time and in every way when we are together. A Sunday Service though can be a wonderful thing. It is an amazing place for people to come to experience the presence and the love of God. We love a service. We love coming together corporately to worship, hear the word and play a part in ministry with a group of people. We are eager to have this place where God can move and people can experience and receive all the things He has for them. Old and Young.
A Sunday Service also gives us the opportunity to serve and use the gifts that we have so that people can come and experience Jesus. There is a Vineyard saying "Everyone gets to play". Our Sunday Service is no different. We want to invite you to come and play. Be part of a team. Join a ministry. In order to do this, we will need you good good folk to help man the fort. This is something that we do together every 1st and 3rd Sunday of the Month and that is rather exciting.

This is our very first service as a church. We are so excited to celebrate this amazing day and you are invited too!! There is no better day to meet together as a community than Easter! This is one for the early risers. For the up and out of the tomb-ers just like Jesus was on this morning all those years ago. We are planning to start the day right, and that is with a trip to the beach, some optional wild swimming and then a warm-up by the fire, bacon bap with a brew.

You are invited to Pembrokeshire Vineyard’s inaugural Easter Egg Hunt!! Grab your best detectorist’s hat, set your detector to sweet sweet coco goodness and get ready to uncover a veritable treasure of chocolate treats!
This is an event for everyone! For kids small and big. For the Chocolate Lovers. For the let the kids run wild-ers. We love Easter SO much and want to celebrate it with everyone.
It’ll be a chilled time to hang out with friends old and new. Along with the Easter egg hunt, there will be coffee and sunshine (our order has been placed for the last one).

Good Friday Communion

If your life looks anything like mine, Good Friday can tend to come and go.
But not this year!
This year it’s where our Easter events begin. We’re going to make sure that the power of this particular day doesn’t pass us by. Come along to Albany church as we carve out time to remind ourselves why it really is a very Good Friday indeed.
An evening of worship, prayer, and space…
Space to pause.
Space to remember.
Space to be grateful.
Space to go deep with the one who makes this Friday so wonderfully good.
PLUS- We’ll also be doing communion together as Pembrokeshire Vineyard for the first time ever! We’ll be taking it slow, keeping it chilled, and doing it in a way that brings fresh perspective on something that the Church has been doing for thousands of years. Something that Jesus himself told us to keep doing.
We can’t wait for this event; I have a feeling it’s going to be the deep-breath we didn’t even know we needed.

Well, the good people at KeepWalesTidy have highlighted that the Narnian beach of Manorbier never really gets touched so we are heading there to help bring spring back with a wee spring clean.
We will blitz the beach and after come back for a brew and hangout as we enjoy the view. Some intrepid folk may even venture into the sea for a dip? Who knows?

Sunday Gathering - March
Man! It is beginning to feel a bit like spring! Whoop Whoop! The daffs are out and the evenings are getting longer. I love this time of year SO MUCH!! It is a time of new beginnings and Pembs coming alive which is what we as a church are all about.
We are getting together this Sunday to enjoy the sunny weather. We are meeting at Steve and Lucy’s house for a couple of hours of time as a community, to enjoy each others company, catch up, a runaround and crafting for the kids (adult totally welcome to craft too), to have some doughnuts and other tasty treats and bless one another before the start of next week.
Steve and Lucy live just outside of Haverfordwest and their address and all the other details will arrive in the confirmation email after signup. It would be really helpful if you can sign up so we have a good idea of numbers so please make sure you sign up all the members of your household.

Beach Clean - Freshwater West
It's Week 1 so we are going litter picking!!
After all the fun of last month’s litter pick around the skatepark in Haverfordwest, we are doing it again! This time we are hitting the sands of arguably the best beach in Pembrokeshire (*opens a can of worms*), the mighty FRESHWATER WEST!!
We are going to clean that mother up! With the recent storms, winds and high tides there should be a fair bit of flotsam and jetsam above the high water mark.
We will blitz the beach and after come back for a brew and hangout as we enjoy the view. Some intrepid folk may even venture into the sea for a dip? Who knows?
All we know is, is that we'd love to see you on Sunday and join us as we bless a very beautiful part of Pembs.

Worship and Prayer evening
Oh how we have missed worshipping together. We have hungered to corporately come before the Lord and meet with Him. COVID has made this difficult over the last two years but we want to press into this the best we can whilst keeping each other safe. The restrictions are ever-changing but we are happy to announce that we will be meeting together on Sunday evening. Join us as we bring ourselves before Jesus, and engage in an hour of worship and reflection, taking the time to really enjoy God's presence.
Why not bring a bible and a journal or sketchbook to write or draw as The Lord prompts you during the evening.
Albany Church in Haverfordwest have kindly allowed us the use of their hall. We are excited to meet together but we also want to keep each other safe. With this in mind, we will be implementing some COVID precautions such as mask wearing, track and trace sign in and social distancing. The space is large enough to accommodate 20 people safely so if you want to book your place please do sign up ASAP.
We are so looking forward to spending time together pushing into God's presence and would love it if you could be there.
Litter Pick Blessing - Haverfordwest Skatepark
Let’s go!
We want to be a church that is not defined by our services but by our service. We don’t just want to talk and dream about the change we want to see, we want to play our part in it coming a reality. We want to actively engage with our communities and the county in real and practical ways to see God’s Kingdom come in Pembrokeshire. We want to serve gladly, give generously, love unconditionally and actively join with God as He extends His Kingdom. We exist for the sake of others because love looks like something!
Join us on Sunday for a litter pick around the Skatepark and surrounding areas in Haverfordwest. We are going to bless our county town by cleaning it up a little. We will then have a hot drink and a doughnut as a culinary reward as standard.

IT’S TIME, AGAIN!
We are hitting the sand hard this year. COVID has made it difficult to meet indoors but we are determined not to have that as an excuse. After all, are we not hardy West Walians. Our skin has been toughened by countless summers of liquid sunshine. We scoff at the idea of temperate climes and embrace God's creation in all its brutal glory. The wet westerlies steel our resolve and even through the horizontal precipitation we never avert our gaze away from the beauty that is our beloved county!
All that aside, we love meeting as a whole community to get to know each other better and spend time together.

Christmas sing-along
IT'S THE ANNUAL PEMBROKESHIRE VINEYARD CHRISTMAS SING-ALONG
We have been waiting SO long to host this event! It has had many guises and names. Some may even know it as the fabled “Beer and Carols”. Whether you call it “Carols” or the “Christmas sing-along” one thing is certain; IT’S GOING TO BE SO MUCH FUN!
This will be the very first of our annual Christmas sing-alongs. We are going to be COVID safe and be outside, so, that is as exciting as it will be chilly (note to self: pack hot water bottle girdle). We will have festive hot drinks to warm the cockles, wine that will be suitably mulled and a selection of Birra de Pembs (beers from God’s favourite county) to help us cheer the evening on merrily as we belt out a selection of best-loved carols and cheesy Christmas songs (I for one can’t wait for the hark the Herald/Shaking Stevens medley).
Everyone is welcome from tinniest Tim to the most stoic of Scrooges! Come and grab a drink and sing along!!

Doors open at 7.30 pm and from 8 pm we will be telling our story about how God has called us to plant this new church in Pembrokeshire and what it is going to look like. Bonfire bonanza
Hey, Hot stuff!
We want to welcome you warmly, literally, like come hang out by the bonfire warmly, to our autumn social.
We are holding our inaugural bonfire bonanza! It'll be an early evening of fun autumn vibes suitable for all the family. We won't be having fireworks but tons of fun. We have hotdogs and soup, we will be toasting marshmallows and plenty of fireside chat.

Light Party
Let's light it up!!
It's going to be a party dedicated to the theme of light because we believe that Jesus is the light of the world.
It's fancy dress so come dressed as your favourite hero or in the brightest, light-y-est, flashing-y-est outfit!
We'll be arranging a few fun games, chowing down on some tip-top pizzas and hot dogs, hearing a story about how Jesus is our light and finishing off with a hunt for treats in the woods.
It's going to be a brilliant party so our kids can enjoy this time of year focused on the things that are good.

Sunday Gathering - Oct: Canaston Woods
Come and join us on a crunchy (possibly squelchy) autumnal walk.
We are rolling the dice one last time and hitting the woods for a walk through the golden foliage of the season before the first winter storm strips the trees barer than the typical bottom of a baby.
We know we are chancing it a bit weather-wise, so come with wellies and waterproofs to hand.
We’ll meet at the carpark halfway between the Bluestone roundabout and the Canaston Bridge one which is a little closer to Canaston Bridge than where the postcode brings you. It's spot on where it is on the map here > Google:maps
We’ll meet there at 2:30pm with the idea of setting off by pretty sharpish so do get in touch if you are going to be late.
This will probably be our last outdoor Sunday (although we are still looking for a suitable venue) and we would love it if you would join us in blessing the county. Pembrokeshire Vineyard exists to see hope restored to the people of Pembrokeshire and lives transformed right across our beautiful county. PATCH is an amazing charity that since 2008 have been fighting to end hunger and hardship in Pembrokeshire. They run a food bank and we want to help restock it with items they need. We would love to invite you to be a part of that too. So please bring a contribution along with you on Sunday and we’ll make sure we get it to PATCH.

IT’s back on!
Join us on Sunday 26th Sept!
We are really excited to have a Church hang out in the lovely Scolton Manor at 2.30pm on Sunday 26th Sept. After the disappointment of having to postpone last week, we are taking a punt on the last bit of September sun and going for it!
Bring a rug or chair to sit on as we set up camp, some energy and anything you want to bring to take advantage in the park. It’s a great place with lots of stuff to do. There is plenty to keep the kids (and bigger adult kids) occupied in the play parks, a lovely woodland walk, a small beginners mountain bike run and lots of grass (which we have been reliably informed by a 9 year is excellent for cartwheels). Frisbee/football/rounders bat/ all of the above.

Llys-y-Fran Grand day out
Join us on Sunday 1st August!
We are really excited to have a Church Picnic and hang out in the amazing revamped LLys-y-Frân Reservoir at 12 noon on Sunday 1st August.
Bring a picnic, a rug or chair to sit on, some energy and anything you want to bring to take advantage of all the new facilities at the reservoir! Bring bikes, scooters, skateboards for the pump track. Boots that are made for walking. Frisbee/football/rounders bat/ all of the above.
Everyone's welcome!
The car parking charge is a bargain £3 for the day. If you'd rather not bring a picnic, there is a fabulous cafe on site where you can buy some tip top tasty treats!
Now the restrictions have been lifted it means that there are no longer limits on numbers but we still require everyone to sign up. You can sign up below.

First ever Sunday Gathering
Easter Sunday 2021 will forever be a line in the sand. On April 4th 2021 we will gather as Pembrokeshire Vineyard for the very first time. This will be a simple gathering at the beach where we commit the future into God’s hands and pray that His Kingdom will break out here in Pembrokeshire.
Due to Covid restrictions this will be a socially distanced event.
Early morning prayer meeting - online
Prayer is an amazing way to start any day. We get together each Tuesday morning at 6:30am to pray for the things God is laying on our hearts. We pray simple prayers for ourselves, for our church, for our town and for each other.
